Error 1911 - Could not register type library for file [2]. Contact your support personnel.

This generally occurs when the file specified in the error message is in the TypeLib table, but the RegisterTypeLibraries action cannot register the file.

If you do not need to register your type library file, select the Tables tab in the Setup Editor, select the TypeLib table and locate the row with the file indicated in the error message. Delete the row and the message will be gone.

If you now get errors within the application, it might 'need' to be registered. There's not really a clean way to do this so it needs to be done with a custom action. Run the executable Regtlib.exe followed by the complete path to your .tlb file.

Regtlib should be available on most systems but it's easier to put it in the binary table so you can be sure that it's available.
