Application Virtualization Sequencing Technician

**This is a Full time, Salaried, Benefited position. Knight Point Systems will assist in providing a TS/SCI clearance**

Position Duties and Responsibilities

The O&S Mid Level AHS SME Engineer responsibilities will include:

• Support server platform and Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems that supports applications management maintenance, including version control, IAVA/patch management, and application virtualization of enterprise applications, baseline exception software (BES), and mission and corporate applications.

• Maintain detailed documentation on configuration for Application Management server architecture; application packaging, sequencing, testing, and deployment planning/delivery; success/fail statistics and compliance reporting

• Interface with Integrated Exploitation Capability (IEC) program for IEC baseline upgrades

• Maintaining Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCE) and support plans; and providing input for annual O&S budget.

• Installation, configuration, application of security patches and upgrades; performance monitoring and troubleshooting of Application Management Services; and user account creation and management as they relate to Application Management.

Required Skills:

• MSCE with 3 to 5 years' minimum experience as a Windows 2003 and Active Directory services administrator

• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2003, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, DFS-R, File and Print Services, and GPO validation, management, and implementation

• Experience and understanding of IEC production environment with respect to baseline dependencies on these activities

• Experience implementing and administering PKI/CAC-based Active Directory environment

• Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007 experiences a plus

• Knowledge of Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) or other enterprise management tools, SMS, and ISA a plus

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Comfortable with MS Office applications including MS Project and Visio

Desired Skills:

Client's Enterprise Service Center (ESC) experience a plus

Experience with Oracle and SQL

Migration experience from physical to virtual machines (P2V)

Experience with Solaris and Unix OSs

Knowledge of data & user migration strategies; knowledge of proper IT security procedures, positive customer interface skills; strong troubleshooting and conflict resolution skills.
