Drive Mapping via SCCM Batch File

Hello,

I'm currently trying to deploy a batch file that uses the "Net Use" command to map a certain drive but it doesn't appear to be mapping, even though SCCM is reporting a successful run. I run the same batch natively and it seems to perform the correct task.

For the record i'm deploying via SCCM 2007 and using the following command (it is being run with user credentials):
Net Use J: \\FileShare5\userlist\%username% /persistent:yes

Thanks in advance!

  • It’s not mapping for the user probably but as system. - quickwhips 6 years ago
    • I've made sure to run the package with user credentials and have verified this by checking the %username% is not the system but the correct user's account - peter9113 6 years ago
  • Sure you will have checked this but...
J: drive isn't already being used/assigned as a mapped drive, also can a user manually map to location. Do they have permissions etc? - Maidens 6 years ago
    • Hi, yes i've made sure that the J: drive isn't already in use and yes the drive is available to everyone so permissions shouldn't be an issue. - peter9113 6 years ago
