Export Script from SMA to SDA?

Hello,

i am trying to get a Script (BIOS Settings) from the SMA to my SDA. I want to add it as a task to set the BIOS settings after Windows got deployed.

I found a way to export it as a KPKG. Now it's stuck in the Paket Manager Queue of the SDA. It just says "Import in progress ..." The package is 5 MB

Is this the right way?

  • Scripts cannot be imported into an SDA, only from an SMA to another SMA.

I would suggest that the KACE SDA probably does not know what to do with the package as it is a script. The admin guide only describes importing Managed Installations from the SMA, so you may need to just recreate your script as a post-installation task script.
