Fed API - importing labels to RSAs
We just enabled federation API on our SMA (8.1) with our SDA (5.1) both internal virtual appliances. I see that I can now use SMA labels within the primary SDA (under Library/SMA devices) with SDA automated deployments and importing SMA MIs.
How do we leverage this same feature “SMA devices/labels” within an RSA? We need to have this feature to target automated deployments, etc. using an RSA for our remote sites. Anyone know if this is possible in 5.1?

You control it the same way. On the K2, pick the label you want, choose automated boot action. From the appliance drop down menu choose the RSA from which you want to deploy and set your image.
You are good to go!!

RSAs are meant to be Basic Replication Servers of a main SDA.
Remember you are entitled to have as many RSA as you want with a single SDA license....
If you need SDA features... in another location, you might consider contact Quest and get a License for a second SDA.
