GP problem with vista on server 2003 network
Hi, this might be a simple problem but I am new to this so please help if anyone knows.
I am using GPO on server 2003 DC to deploy java and adobe reader. This should be a very simple and straight forward task. Well it is with other 2003 servers and XP. Vista however, sees it with gpupdate /force but after restart nothing installed. Just for testing, everyone has full permissions on everything in the shared "deployedApps" folder, so I can't see it being anything but a Vista issue. Both the server 2003 SP2 and Vista Business are fresh clean installs. All I've done is set up the server and push out the apps. Is there some problem in the new vista security, stopping it from installing? Oh, and the error info in the rsop.msc only tells me the time and date. No error info. Thanks
