How do you generate a report that has the total amount of software installed?

Hello,

I would like to generate a report in Kace that has the total number of installations of a particular piece of software.  For example I want to know the total number of Adobe Acrobat DC installations, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Adobe Photoshop...etc.

I don't need it to list every computer that has the software on it, just how many computers have Adobe Acrobat DC installed total. If I need separate reports for each, that's fine. Will the reports generate a total like that?

Thanks

you can do that with the wizard

Create a new report choose topic software

for fields to display choose "Devices Affected" "display Name" "Display Version"

sort order put "display Name" "Display Version" "Devices Affected"

for filter choose display name = Adobe Acrobat DC and save and run report

  • if you leave out the version is will total all versions together - SMal.tmcc 8 years ago
    • Thanks man...helped me out lots. It still separates with different versions, but I suspect that has more to do with Adobe then Kace. - mjreccoppa 8 years ago
