Is it possible to implement KACE RSA over a VPN Tunnel?

Are there any concerns or issues that we should expect as far as synchronization is concerned between the master Deployment Appliance and an RSA if the synchronization is happening over A VPN tunnel versus a dedicated MPLS line?
