K1000 GO Que Notifications
Is there a way to set up the notifications in the K1000 Go app to alert when a new ticket is opened in a particular que? For a desktop support guy this would be extremely handy to have being that I am not at my desk 70% of the day. When I go to Notification Subscriptions nothing comes up and I have no idea how to configure it. I have browsed the web for an answer but I am either blind or there isn't one.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I've never dealt with this myself, but page 206 of the K1 6.4 admin guide says "If users have the K1000 GO mobile app installed on their smart phone or tablet, the system sends push notifications for the selected Service Desk ticket events." So I would create a test queue, add yourself, then customize email-on-events to test the functionality.
K1000 GO is also mentioned on pg 603 in the context of server monitoring (see also pg 627), but from your question I gather this is not the function you want.

Ok so I enabled Email on New ticket for my que and I get the emails however the notifications do not come through. I need to check with my network admin to make sure notify.kace.com was whitelisted in the firewall but I believe it is. Otherwise I have a ticket open and I am just waiting for them to call. - cmurphy 8 years ago

Any solution to this? I got one notification on my phone, but the last 4 test requests did not notify me... - nicolebeth 6 years ago
