Keeping certain users from being assigned to machines.
Hello all,
I am curios if there is a way to keep admin accounts imported from ad from being assigned as a user/primary user on machine.

Do you need those admin accounts to be a user in KACE? If not, you could customize your LDAP imports to exclude those accounts. - JasonEgg 6 years ago

This doesn't exactly answer your question, but we changed the settings for assigning users to machines because of this issue. Rather than have machines getting assigned to our technicians or going back and forth between users, we do not have the appliance automatically assign users to computers. This means that we have to do the assignment manually, but we feel that is a better solution for what we want to accomplish. It is now part of our deployment workflow to assign the correct user and location to computers when they are deployed.
