Lumension - What does KACE 1100 scan against?

So, when you run a “detect” and KACE starts detecting what each server needs (for updates), how is it determining what is needed?  Does KACE create an xml file when it downloads new updates and use that file to run against each server?  If so, i know KACE gets the Microsoft critical updates as soon as Microsoft releases them, but how long after release from Microsoft does KACE get the "recommended" and "important" updates?

Critical patches are added within 48 hours of release to the patch feed.  You can check here to see if a patch has been added or not: http://leic.lumension.com/browse/patches/

Patch release timeframes are listed here: http://www.kace.com/support/resources/kb/article/how-soon-after-their-release-will-patchesbe-available
