Office Updates are not working with Patch management
For some reason it doesn't seem like Microsoft Office is updating at all on our systems. I have two smart labels that are supposed to handle Windows/Office patching:
General Windows OS Patch Smart Label:
- Category is OS
- Status is Active
- Operating System contains Windows
- Language is English
- Impact is Critical
Office Specific OS Patch:
- Publisher contains Microsoft
- Name contains Office
Patch schedule is set to detect limited to both labels and deploy all patches. Still, the Office build versions are way out-of-date. Any ideas on how to get patch working for Office updates? Thanks!

I went into these settings and did not see what you did, but noticed it was attempting to download. I stopped the attempt and got these options. As you called it, patches were not configured to download, just the signatures were.

OMG Thanks because light mode was giving me headaches. For anyone wanting to change it, its under Settings > General Settings then search for the word "Theme" because its easy to miss if you just scroll through the page. - lama01 5 years ago

You can set a default theme and each person can change it if they want. I have multiple orgs and I use different themes for my main 2 orgs and the old one for all the other small orgs. This helps me to know the org I am in real easy - SMal.tmcc 5 years ago
Here is a screenshot of the catalog with my smart label. It looks like the patches are downloading. Patches are set to download every 4 hours.
here are my subscription settings

My subscription setting are the same, except we have a few more Publishers chosen. - taylora 5 years ago
I wonder if your detect is not running? Are the patches listed as missing on your devices in the catalog? You might try running a separate detect process to see if that picks them up. One thing I had to change was the detect process timeout.

Detect is running and there are patches listed as missing on the devices in the catalog.
I always run detect and deploy separately. - taylora 5 years ago
