Patch Management Schedules

Good morning all!

I'm in the middle of setting up patching schedules for our campuses.

Right now, I'm setting our labs to AutoOn over the weekends when no one is around and pushing out critical OS patches on Saturday and critical Dell updates Sunday.

I'm thinking about about switching our faculty/ staff to run overnight sometime during the week.

I'm just curious, what type of schedules do you all run?

I run a custom schedule every weekend after patch Tuesday on all my servers.
Win 10 devices, I allow updates during the non-working hours much like you are suggesting for staff.

I also think it is great to have a test group first that is like each group you deploy to to catch errors, but I do not have the resource to set this up in my current environment. With rool back, which I have used through Kace, I still feel pretty safe.

B - Forced Reboots

C - Forced Reboots (Different day from B)

D - No Reboots
