AdminStudio Conflict management help needed
Morning all,
I have been put in charge of setting up a conflict resolution Database for a new client.
We have the database setup and I have imported their SOE started importing packages but I was wondering if anyone has any tips or whitepapers for best practices for this feature of adminstudio.
It seams to pick up the same data every time and its meaningless to me.
Is this tool usefull for repackagers or is it more for App developers ?
thanks
John

What do you want to find out with the conflict Resolution feature? (What (do you think) is the purpose of this tool?)
I think, after fully tested the repackaged application ( validation, functionally, uninstall, deployment etc...)
I feel confident to import the application in the Conflict Management Database.
With the information I get from the tool I will decide to do addtional work ( Application Isolation Wizard, Quality Monitor etc...)
After that I will reimport the package again.
The information you get from the tool does need some analysis from you if it is relevant for you and that is build on experience.
As for your last question:I think this is for both.
