Copy a file from a computer
Hi,
What i would like to do is copy a specific file from computers in our inventory - back to kace so we can see the contents of the file - update it and then sync it back down - i know file sync will do the job to push it back but how to i get a copy of the file from the computer. Becuase of the nature of the files we would have to edit each one individually but not all computers will need to edit which is why we need to see the files first.
Any assistance is appreciated. thanks

You can use scripting, since there is an upload ("upload a file") option.
Use this to upload the file to the appliance. You can find it in the inventory under uploaded files.
