Quicktime 7 - make a custom setup.exe?
Okay, I've finally gotten my QuickTime 7 to install the way I want it to by tweaking the .MST and putting in the .QTP file
I'm using Installshield Tuner.
I went to re-package it so that I could make a setup.exe file that would bootstrap
But it doesn't want to work.
I get an Installshield error:
1155: File
c:\documents and settings\userid\local settings\temp\_is
not found
BUT if I just run the MSI via say, ZENworks, then it works fine.

The MSI via ZEN (New App object -> MSI) works fine.
What I wanted to do was take Admin Studio (what I used to make the .MST file) is click the Package Wizard and have it make a self running setup.exe
Adminstudio creates that without any error. The problem is that when I run the setup.exe that Admin Studio makes, I get that funky error. There's "something" somewhere that's telling it to look for the uninstall folder in the temp directory.
And I'm not sure where that's at. You'd think that all you'd need is the .MSI file, the .MST file, the .CAB file (that holds your custom .QTP file) and that's it. But apparently it wants more.
