First of all, learn what packaging is, what Custom Actions are, then learn VBScript P R O P E R L Y. There are literally millions of examples on the web. Once you have those things in place, you'll have learned that there are relatively few occasions where VBS is required. Many packagers use it when they can't work out how to achieve a certain goal, which is totally the wrong approach.
