In my opinion minitab do a good job for the deployment with version 16.

Start the setup with the admin option to get the Customization Tool. Do your required changes and save the config.xml in the same folder like setup.exe

Create config.xml
"setup.exe /admin"

Run Setup with config.xml
"Setup.exe /config config.xml"

For Silent uninstall
%CommonProgramFiles%\Minitab Shared\Minitab 16\Setup\Setup.exe" /p Minitab16 /x /qb
