HP's Application Packaging Service Selects InstallShield's AdminStudio as its Preferred Application Packaging Solution

BRISTOL, United Kingdom - January 13, 2003 - InstallShield(r) Software Corporation today announced a new partnership with Hewlett-Packard Company (HP). InstallShield is partnering with HP's Application Packaging Service based in Galway, Ireland, to provide highly scaleable, application packaging services to customers around the globe. HP will use InstallShield's AdminStudio(tm) product as its preferred packaging tool when providing packaging services to its customers. The two companies will also collaborate on providing additional consulting and training services such as Packaging Best Practice Definition, Microsoft Windows Installer education and AdminStudio product training.

From its European Software Centre located in Galway, HP will integrate AdminStudio into its Application Packaging Service, which assists customers in tackling the complex, time-consuming issue of application migration, especially in addressing the Microsoft Windows Installer Service. AdminStudio provides an efficient, scaleable solution to package large volumes of applications for enterprise companies.
