Our Client needs Automation Engineer with Healthcare/Hospital Industry experience
Position Description:
Responsible for the coordination and/or automation of system and platform management tool. Designs or modifies systems and procedures to solve complex problems and produce specified results. Responsible for quality assurance inside of the system management tool space. Competent to work at the highest level in all phases of management tool integration. Complies with hospital and department policies and procedures.
? Perform analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of new automation tool technologies
? Maintain accurate, complete automation documentation for data flows, connectivity specifications, routing, filtering, data manipulation, problem resolution, root-cause analysis and change control.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS:
? Lead automation efforts by developing, directing, scheduling tasks and validating activities.
? Knowledge and skills to support communication protocols and standards for X12 and XML.
? Experience with scripting knowledge, specifically Perl, JavaScript, VBScript and SNMP.
? Knowledge of to create, modify, and test message structures, events and connections.
? Familiarity with HMS, McKesson and Pro-Med healthcare applications is a huge plus.
? Fundamental knowledge of network architecture, servers, redundancy and clustering.
? Fundamental knowledge of database management, TCP/IP, SNA, FTP and messaging services.
? Demonstrate ability to engage in and complete multiple concurrent assignments
? Excellent oral and written communication skills.
? Familiarity with healthcare applications preferred.

Strong analytical and problem resolution skills, organizational skills, and ability to analyze business problems and opportunities. Strong ability to work on and prioritize multiple, concurrent projects while meeting aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with little supervision.
SKILLS EXPERIENCE
Five or more years of experience supporting enterprise computing environments.
3 or more years of experience with system automation and scripting.
Intermediate to advanced skills with system management tools (SCCM, Puppet, etc.).
Software package creation and distribution on UNIX, Linux, Windows, and/or AIX.
Location: St. Louis
Duration: 12+ months extendable contract
