SDA (K2000) - Disable mouse & keyboard input

Hi Guys,

if you want to disable mouse & keyboard input during the K2000 OS-Deployment for Windows here is how:

I've created two task (1x Pre & 1x Post installation) to block mostly every mouse & keyboard input. The tool within this task is called KeyFreez by Sordum.
It's free to use and very easy to implement.

You can find the download links below. If you wan't to disable mouse & keyboard you have to use both tasks. If your POST-Installation setup requires multiple restarts then you have to add a blocking task direct after every reboot.

It works with Windows x64 and x86 KBE's. Instructions how to enable mouse and keyboard can be found in the description of the single task.

    • Good morning, did you validate your Quest support account with your ITninja profile? You can do that when you go into your ITNinja profile, then settings and there you can find the support validation. Afterwards you are able to download the packages. - sven.hain 1 year ago
  • Apologies, not sure what that means. I did however try to respond to that when it prompted me, so I put in my email address which got rejected. - abnranger67 1 year ago
    • Do you currently have any KACE product under active maintenance? The support validation is there to make sure that you have active maintenance so that you can download the needed files from the customer area :) - sven.hain 1 year ago
