KACE over DirectAccess (Finally)

Linked inside of this posting are the steps required to permit remote Dell KACE clients to work with the KACE infrastructure while on DirectAccess. This solution was developed in my lab with the Dell KACE team and I credit their efforts in bringing this to fruition. Please respond to this post if you have any questions or issues.

Thanks for the How-to Mark. I am trying to implement this and have a question. In the PDF on how to issue the NETSH commands, you state "If your K1000 appliance has an IPv6 address of...". Where did you get the IPv6 address for the K1000? I guess if you were doing DHCP, that would be a way to have one issued but when using static IP addressing on the K1000...? - sbl@cshlaw.com 8 years ago
From your remotely connected DirectAccess client ping the FQDN name of the K1000. It'll have an IPv6 address that responds. - MarkRingo 8 years ago
