Macrovision® Attains Gold Certified Partner Status in Microsoft Partner Program

SANTA CLARA, Calif.—January 11, 2006—Macrovision® Corporation (NASDAQ: MVSN), announced today that it has achieved the status of Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, reaching the highest level in three separate competencies as a result of its success in working with Microsoft and delivering Microsoft-compatible solutions to enterprise customers: Advanced Infrastructure Solutions, ISV Software Solutions, and Networking Infrastructure Solutions.
