ManageSoft Corporation, a world leader in corporate software management solutions, today announced the expansion of its global operations with the opening of an office in South America. ManageSoft today also announced the appointment of a new European General Manager. This strategic expansion will enable ManageSoft Corporation to service worldwide demand for the company's software management products and continued expansion of international partnership and reseller networks.
Servicing South American markets
The Latin America office, based in Rio de Janero, Brazil, will service local organizations as well as the growing number of subsidiaries of multi-national parent companies operating in Latin America. The Rio office will support a network of Latin American distributors, partners, and resellers for ManageSoft software management products.
South American IT veteran, Ignacio Moitta, will head up the operation as General Manager. Moitta brings to the role more than 22 years experience in IT management in the Latin American, Southern European and US markets.
"We are very excited about our expansion into South America. With Ignacio at the helm, we will be looking to expand our operations throughout Latin America. Initial focus will be on the largest markets of Brazil and Mexico, but this will be rapidly followed by other Latin American markets," said Walter Elliot, ManageSoft CEO.
GM to expand European operations
In addition to establishing a presence in South America, ManageSoft has appointed a new European General Manager, Harald Assenmacher, who will drive European growth by expanding the organization's reach and distribution networks.
"In addition to furthering relationships with our existing European partners, like technology giant Siemens, Harald is working closely with new partners to build relationships in markets where ManageSoft does not currently have a presence, such as Scandinavia and Southern Europe," said Mr Elliot.
Assenmacher has over 15 years' experience in software consulting, and sales, and has developed business relationships with a strong network of partners, resellers, and distributors throughout Europe. This proven experience will enable ManageSoft to expand rapidly into several key markets in Europe as part of the company's global market strategy.
Mr Elliott said the appointment of Assenmacher to this role is a major coup for an international company. "Harald's unique background and knowledge of the local market will enable us to further capitalize on the untapped potential in Europe."
Customer wins in USA and Australia
In addition to management expansion, ManageSoft has also recently achieved a number of major customer wins, including Thomson Prometric, a leading provider of technology-based testing and assessment services, the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), state and federal parliaments in Australia, US telecommunications company Norstan, and Diageo (Guinness).
ManageSoft Corporation is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner.
