Security Architect

Location: Richmond, VA

Rate: $40.00-$68.00 hr (Depend on experience)

This is a contract for 4 months with a possible extension up to 1-2 years.

This position will be responsible for IT Security risk assessment, best practices and SME consulting to Active Directory and MS-Exchange projects. The client is looking for candidates that have prior experience as a Security Architect, a broad IT knowledge that includes extensive experience with MS Active Directory Windows 2000/2003; MS Exchange 5.5/2003; MS MMS/MIIS 2003; Public Key Infra. (PKI X.509 Certificates + Certificates Authority Mgt.; Networking (TCPIP, WINS, DNS, DHCP, RPC, NetBios, SMTP, etc.); and Network Security (Firewall/VPN). The client would also prefer candidates that have Security certifications in : CISSP/CISM and/or ISO 17799.

Candidates MUST have the following "hands on" technical skills: 5-7 years experience in Networking, Internet Security, and LDAP along with at least 2 years knowledge/experience with SDLC. Candidates that have knowledge and/or experience with Livelink is a plus. Candidates should also have experience with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Project along with some Project Management, Presentation skills and excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
