The role will include application packaging and desktop\server deployments with an emphasis on following the processes defined for Configuration and release management standards[/align] [/align]· Packaging of all applications using Adminstudio[/align] [/align]· Application deployment using Microsoft SMS[/align] [/align]· The deployment of client & server OS images[/align] [/align]· Resolve technical and process issues within Software Distribution [/align] [/align]· Assist in the definition and implementation of automated processes and procedures[/align] [/align]· Develop scripts and batch files to automate profile build process[/align] [/align]· Oversee PC build process and assure build configuration baselines are being maintained according to the defined profiles[/align] [/align]· Support the deployment and production phases[/align] [/align]· Provide software-troubleshooting support to Help Desk[/align] [/align]· Assist with configuration management[/align] [/align]· Provide training for support personnel working with the software distribution automated build process[/align] [/align]· Documentation of procedures and best practices[/align] [/align]· Refine and update software distribution operational procedures[/align] [/align]· Use change control to track packages and scripting modifications[/align] [/align]· Assist in maintaining accurate and timely documentation to reflect work status and project progress[/align] [/align]· Previous experience in desktop deployments is required[/align] [/align]· Previous Experience in a similar position[/align] [/align]· Experience with Adminstudio or other packaging software suites[/align] [/align]· Exposure to SMS administration [/align] [/align]· Scripting with SMS and VBScript is an asset[/align] [/align]· Strong PC LAN/WAN Networking skills [/align] [/align]· Good knowledge of supporting and configuring Windows XP, Windows 2003 [/align] [/align]· Good communication and interpersonal skills[/align] [/align]· Good documentation skills[/align] [/align]· Ability to work well under pressure[/align] [/align]· Ability to work in a timelines and milestones driven project environment [/align] [/align]· Ability to work as part of a team[/align] [/align]· Ability to learn and work in a dynamic environment[/align] [/align]· Ability to work in a multi-cultural and international environment[/align] [/align]· Fluent in English[/align] [/align]
