Adding additional profiles w/ outlook 2003 & ORK
Just some quick background:
We have some roaming users with laptops. We are trying to set up outlook with multiple profiles. our goal is that when they are internal to the network, they can connect directly by IP address to the exchange server, and when they are external, they can connect over https. When outlook opens up, it allows the user to simply select the profile they want and it should just go. that much is easy.
We are trying to form an mst using ORK that will preload both profiles for the laptop users, but it will only allow us to select one profile. I can turn on the selection box by simply setting HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Exchange\Client\Options\PickLogonProfile = 1. We have a PRF file of the 2nd profile. We would like to simply 'push' this extra profile (and the registry change) to the users who need it, but can't figure out a way. The profile doesn't seem like it can be installed silently - if it is ran, it asks "would you like to import?" and then opens up outlook no matter which you choose.
Has anyone else delt with this problem before? I'd be willing to believe there is another way to go about it.
