Addressing Cisco Telepresence Movi error messages on a Dell laptop with XP?

Upon downloading the Movi client and attempting to log in I received two messages. First: **CRITICAL**:file. .\..\gst\gstvalue.c:line1215:assertion `((gdouble)numerator_start)/((gdouble)denominator_start)<((gdouble)numerator_end)/((gdouble)denominator_end)’ failed aborting Upon clicking on OK this message presented: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program:C\Program Files\Cisco\Movi\movi.exe
This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the applications’ support team for more information.

Support staff at the host facility could not troubleshoot with me successfully. Any ideas appreciated.

  • I had the same issue! Your computer is missing drivers for the camera. Once you update that, this should work. - jwalker28 11 years ago
