Administrative Privilages
Does user need to be given administrative previlages for the installation of office XP through MSI.How can we set the administrative previlages from the wise script or we need to implement group policy for the OU

- Basically there are several ways for this to happen. You are correct in "a user does need administrative rights" to install the Office product. You will need to login Locally to install Office, Assign or Publish the Office application to the user or computer(GPO), or use SMS or some other Admin tool to 'push' the application.
- So as long as the original installation is performed with elevated privileges all subsequent installations including install on demand will install with these elevated privileges.
