Software Deployment

I know what InstallShield says about it, but .... does anybody who has useded this repak method have any comments they'd like to make about how well it works, any gotcha's, etc.

I just wasted a chunk of time trying to repackage Sybase Power Designer 11 using the logging approach, and got nowhere except hard-coded paths like "C:\MyPrograms\My Company Name" etc. etc.

Any comments of your experience welcome!
