It has been released. It is no longer called install tuner. It is the customization wizard and can be found at the following link: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=3564

"e-licensing" is mess - this is how it is supposed to work in a corporate environment: we already have access to Adobe's Licensing Website to retrieve serial numbers for our orders. Now, additionally, we need to create an "e-license" for each order. The e-license file is either hosted on Adobe's webserver or downloaded to a license server within your LAN - the software for this local licensing server can be downloaded for free.

On first run, Acrobat tries to download an appropriate e-license, by default, it connects to Adobe's webserver through SSL - if you want to use the local licensing server instead, you need to deploy an XML file that contains the IP address of that server. The client downloads a free e-license file from the appropriate pool, identified by the serial number, and Acrobat is activated. If your pool is empty, a temporary license (120 days) is being created.

If you want to uninstall Acrobat (new PC, crashed HD, ...), you first need to return the e-license to the pool - this process seems to be unreliable in the moment. Just had a long conversation with Adobe's hotline because my very first try to return such a license did not work at all. Adobe is "aware" of those problems, they create additional e-licenses for free if things don't work right.

Try to call Adobe on this problem:

Contact Adobe for a master exception xml file to opt out of e-licensing. This will bypass all back end licensing models.

Thx for your posts...

I have another question.

How can i disable the "first steps with Adobe Acrbat 8 Popup" when i start at first time the Adobe Acrobat 8.

I can set a cross. i think it must be a Registrykey but i haven't found it...

Thank you for your answers.
