Use Adobe's Customization Wizard to create the mst file.

However I don't believe they have released the customization wizard for version 9 yet as the link in the below document leads to the version 8 customization wizard.

If the serial number is your only issue you can try adding a property to your mst

ISX_SERIALNUMBER=xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx

you need to send an email to adobe requesting it AcrobatTechnicalEvangelist@adobe.com I had my bata version email and link the next day.

The customization wizard works like a champ. have already deployed std, pro, and reader. Now in a couple of weeks we all can do it again....

It was probably a poor choice to publish your email address on a public forum. Use the PM facility to ask members questions directly.

Why do you need to do it all again? Is it not a full production beta?

HI all,
I have tried to use the Customization Wizard for 8.0 with Acrobat 9 and it does not even recognize the MSI. According to Adobe's documentation (http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Acrobat/9.0/Professional/WSF4006CF0-5B68-44cc-B72D-0B98DCD57BD7.html), you can use Customization Wizard 9. Well I has not been release and they don't now when. I called and got the normal "It should be soon" BS. Guess will have to wait. [:@]

The Reader is easy enough to do, the customization wizard is for the Standard and the Pro version.

Issues fixed with Adobe ESD. Looks like they have also released v.9 of the customization wizard. Just login to your Adobe account & search for CustWiz90_en_US.exe in the downloads.

The "Adobe Customization Wizard 9" can also be downloaded from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=3993

To owners of volume licenses for Acrobat products: If you purchased CS5 which includes Acrobat 9 Pro, you may have an issue with licensing if you dont download from Adobe's license site the Acrobat 9 software you should find there under the Software Download link.

The Acrobat Pro CD supplied with CS5 is not suitable for volume licenses of Acrobat 9.

It would be useful if you could post this information in the 'Package KB' for both products. There is a link to the Acrobat Package KB at the top of this thread's page.
