Adobe Flash Pro CS5 silent install.

Hi.

I currently working on Adobe Flash Pro CS5 application. I need to install the application silenly to all the users from SCCM. so i am in the process of finding the silent way of installation and uninstallation. I tried multiple ways to get the silent installation as guided by some forums..(http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/405/kb405451.html#main_troubleshooting) and other some links..

Could any body suggest me to get the silent switches with your experience which will really helps me to solve the problem.

I heard that there is a tool (CSDT) from Adobe which will helps to create Install.xml and uninstall.xml files. Those will help for silent installation. but i could not able to get the mentioned tool and these install/uninstall.xml's as well.

Pls give some guidelines to proceed successfully with this application.

Any help much appriciated.

Thanks Dude for your help.

I have gone thru the link provided earlier but no luck.

As per Suite packages, there is a command line to create install.xml and uninstall.xml file with setup.exe...

setup.exe --record=1
but this is not working (xml's are not creating).

Any way thanks for you help :)

I am currently trying with enterprice edition package of adobe flash pro cs5.

I want to install the setup with silent mode and all the inputs need to append from xml file. but i am not able to get the xml files to install/uninstall.

as per the guidelines for the adobe site, i tried the above command line to record the install/uninstall.xml's files but these are not creating. i think without these xml's files we cant apply all inputs for the inputs( serial number, language...)

Pls suggest.

Pls suggest. You could always try reading the documentation which Pieter pointed you towards. In there, it says that you use the Adobe tool to create an MSI. No mention of using SETUP.EXE anywhere that I could see...

@OP
You are trying to install a CS5 app and come up with a CS4 article and wonder why it's not working?

[spoiler]
--record doesn't work anymore in CS5. Try the enterprise deployment tool which pjgeutjens provided the URL for....

Hi,
Thanks to each indiual for the valuable suggestions. I have completed the application sucessfully.

Here is my experience with the Adobe Flash Pro CS5 application.

As suggested by pjgeutjens (http://www.adobe.com/devnet/creativesuite/enterprisedeployment.html), I have downloaded the Application Management Enterprice tool and installed. After installation it prompted for executable of Adobe flash pro. I have given the setup.exe along with all the options like serial key, lauguage and all. After that it created a Msi file for installation. I took the Msi file and installed fine with silent paramaters (/Q). we can also create a upgrade package with the same tool.

Hope this info will helps for somebody.
