Adobe Indesign- Disable Registration
Hi All,
There is a requirement in my package to disable the Registration Option under "Help" Menu . I referred to the previous post ( http://itninja.com/question/repackaging-trend-officescan-client29 ) about disabling the "Online Support" , but that doesn't mention about the Registration option.
I tried using the following in the script
app.hideMenuItem("Registration")
and placed in the C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe InDesign CS3\Scripts\Scripts Panel\Samples\JavaScript.
Unforunately this is not working as the "Registration" option is still enabled.
It seems that i have entered the wrong value in the script. And i need help on how can i know appropriate value to be entered so as to disable the options in the menu

after clicking on other menu option it disable it again. When I close the application & again launch the shortcut registration option gets disable again.I *think* I know the answer to this question already, but...Have you monitored your system as you go through this exercise, to watch file and/or registry activity?
