Adobe Reader 10.1.4 start problems

Hi, we deploy our software over Empirum (as user empirumservice, which is an administrator). On many XP pc the users cannot start the reader. Only a black window appears for a short time. If I install the same package manual as administrator it works fine. I cannot found any difference between the program folders of a problem pc and a pc with no problems. The logfile says, that the installation was succesfully. Any idea??  Many thanks for help. E.Mosch

Some questions :

1. Are you installing the software from a deployment tool ?

2. From the above , is it working for local adminstrator & not for domain admins ?

3. Is it working as a manual installation i.e. in GUI mode & not in SIlent mode ?

1. yes, the deployment tool is Empirum from Matrix42

2. the software ist deploying automatically ower as user - for example "empirumservice" - which ist an domain admin and so also an local administrator on the pc

3. It is working when I install it as an local admin - also in silent mode.

In Empirum I can give the pc a software package for installation over a deployment console and then a service on the pc checks in an interval if there are new packages. On the PC is a normal user account, but the installation is over the user with admin rights (see above). This constallation causes the problem.

But I can also logon as an administrator and select  over an kiosk the Software for installation under my admin account. This will be sucessful. The package for installation is the same. And it seems there are no problems under Win7, but only under XP.
