Adobe Reader 9 w/ SMS 2003 Problems
I am having a heck of a time trying to distribute this package to my users. I am using the following command line which should work:
msiexec.exe /i AcroRead.msi/ TRANSFORMS=AcroRead.mst /L*vx C:\Reader.log
I am using the software installation account. The client receives the package just fine and starts the advertisement. The event viewer on the machine indicates that the installer service get sent a start control, starts running, and then 10 minutes (to the second) gets sent a stop control.
The Reader.log output is:
=== Verbose logging started: 11/13/2008 11:57:45 Build type: SHIP UNICODE 3.01.4001.5512 Calling process: C:\WINDOWS\system32\msiexec.exe ===

Does anyone have any clues as to what may be going wrong or more logs I can check to indicate where the problem is?
