Anyone have any luck installing Adobe Acrobat Pro XI Creative Cloud using K1000?

Hey does anyone know how to push out Adobe Acrobat Pro XI Creative Cloud?  Adobe documentation is no help at all.  I've been able to create a package and push out Adobe Acrobat itself.  I've used the customization tool and set all my settings.  It deploys fine, but it keeps asking me to sign into adobe cloud, which it's not supposed to.

If anyone has any idea where to go to get GOOD step by step instructions or has any experience with this, I'd love to hear about it.

Thanks,

  • I have pushed out the entire suite of cc with case but not individual components. Once pushed no sign in is required. - Jbr32 10 years ago
  • How did you create the installer for Acrobat Pro XI? We have a distribution setup for it and it deploys without any issues. - chucksteel 10 years ago

I believe you can use the "Creative Cloud Packager" provided you have your own enterprise license key. I imagine you would select "Acrobat Pro XI" only. Then use a similar command structure to this following the placement of files within a .zip:

START /WAIT .\Exceptions\ExceptionDeployer --workflow=install --mode=pre --installLanguage=en_US
START /WAIT .\Build\Setup.exe
START /WAIT .\Exceptions\ExceptionDeployer --workflow=install --mode=post

You just have to be aware you need to run your pre and post exceptions in this way for any deployment.

  • I've been dealing with issues after installing only using the pre exception line. Thank you for the entire command. The install now works beautifully. - Mrxbma 10 years ago
