Welcome.
The two main vendors, Symantec (Wise) and Flexera (InstallShield), both run courses for their products, after which you would expect to receive a certificate of completion. How valuable that might be is questionable. I have never been asked if I have Wise/InstallShield certification nor have I ever - to my recollection - seen it as a requirement in job postings. In this game, there is no substitute for experience.

8 months old? You should be playing with toys and and crawling around- not packaging applications.
I for one do not relish a return to Victorian child labour conditions - if you're not careful they'll be sending you up chimneys next!

Seriously though, vendor courses show you how to use their products - as long as you understand Windows Installer you can get on with both of the main players tools.
Experience and knowledge are what really matter - in an interview situation you can spot someone without the knowledge in just a few questions.
Cheers,
