Application packaging v\s Core packaging

Hi All,

I have been working in Application Re-packaging & Virtualization from last 2 years, I am getting oppurtunity to work in Core Packaging now
So should i go ahead with core packaging or should i stick to repackaging
Any Suggestions or advice will be appreciated
