AutoCAD LT 2006 - Activation needed

Has anyone deployed AutoCAD LT 2006?
Even tho I am running it in AutoDesks own Deployment Wizard I need to activate the product after installation is finished.

Anyone knows if works with FLEXlm? According to there webpage, LT 2002 and 2004 doesn't use FLEXlm.

Maybe the activation doesn't apear if its using FLEXlm?

I just got an email from AutoDesk saying that AutoCAD LT 2006 need different request codes for every machine.
They also told me that there was no network solution for it.

I guess we have to deploy it as it is, and make the users activate them self...

Hello jonasm,

We have deployed autocad 2006 through GPO. We have a flex License Manager so no problem on activating autocad. We have a concurrend network version.
The problem i had was that the deployment server needs Windows Installer 3.0

Thanks for your help sejacru, but are we talking about the same version?
I am talking about the Lite-version, AutoCAD LT 2006.

Hi,
To skip the Activation window after launching AutoCad Lt 2006 u have to install and use the wizard to make a multi-Seat Stand Alone Deployment, and under the process of running that wizard u have to register ur name, a comapany name and an address then u get an activation code..etc. This will result in an MSt file for AutoCad LT 2006, which contains an ini file called ACDLT2005ENURegData.ini this file contains the registration information u filled in on line and when u install and start ur Autocad later then the activation happens sillently.

more info on :

Hope this helps
