AutoCAD Network Installation Wizard doesn't recogonize 2004 SP1a
I'm trying to create an administrative image share point for AutoCAD LT 2004 via the Network Installation Wizard (which has been patched), according to the helpful directions found in places like http://itninja.com/link/merge-module-for-directx-8.13 and http://www.cvis.com/MP/AutoCAD_2004_Installation.pdf
I've got the service pack 1a, and extracted it to an .MSP file (with '/e <filename>'). But when I try to create the admin share and connect the service pack in NIW, it gives the following error:
"The file you specified is not a valid Red Deer service pack. Please specify a valid file."
Sure enough, inspecting the .MSP with Orca shows that it has no database content; and MSIBD shows that it has no file streams--thus, what was extracted is not an MSP. Searching the AutoDesk message boards, this one and other packaging ones hasn't shown much... Any ideas? TIA--
