Automatic vLan propagation between switches from different vendors?
Hi,
We have a project upcoming that involves kitting out a new site to mirror and link to an existing site. Both are fairly substantial (about 25 edge switches and 2 large core switches) using over 100 vLans.
I know if this were Cisco across the board that it would be possible to have the new switches pick up the config from the existing ones...but it's not. The existing switches are HP and the new ones will be Dell (N3xxx and N4xxx series).
Does anyone know if it's possible, using VTP or some open-source protocol most likely, to get the Dell and HP switches to share vLan settings automatically?
