BROWSE BUTTON using WISE INSTALLER EDITOR
Our Installer has a facility to provide some run time report to the user.
The requirement is to add a browse button in the installer which will initially point to the Desktop and If the user chooses to change the path he/she can use the browse button. I am using WISE Installer Editor 7.0 to develop this but not been able to go forward on this.
Listed below what all that I have tried.
1. In the Setup Editor Tab under dialog box added a new browse button and created two events [_Browse Property] with the argument ( a custom property having the value of [Desktop folder]) REPORTPATH. To show the path I used an edit field (so that user can choose to write if not browse).
Failed with error 1314
2. In the Setup Editor Tab under dialog box added a new browse button and created two events [_Browse Property] with the argument ( a custom property having the value of [Desktop folder]) REPORTPATH. To show the path I used an Text field.
Failed with Error 1213.
- Not Sure how to proceed on this. Any pointer will be highly appreciable.
