BSOD while Uninstalling Driver in MSI Pakage

Made a MSI installer using wise 6.0 to install Device Driver. it installs correctly. now i have to create upgrade package. My upgrade package works fine but intermittently users get a BSOD once they apply the upgrade, because it needs to remove a device and add it back into device manger. any idea to avoid BSOD while uninstalling the device. to uninstall the device from device manger i made a batch file using "DEVCON" utility in CA
