Bypass "windows cannot verify the publisher of this driver software" in windows 7?
I'm trying to temporarily disable/bypass the "windows cannot verify the publisher of this driver software" in windows 7 (x86) for installing drivers for a Dymo printer using dpinst

so far i've tried editing the gpo (User Configuration - Administrative Templates - System - Driver Installation - Code Signing for Device Drivers)
via commandline:
bcdedit -set loadoptions DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
&
bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING ON
as well as editing the registry:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
UAC is turned off as well
any thoughts on other possibilities?

There's a "sticky" at the top of the forum that deals with handling unsigned drivers.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,so that the conversation will remain readable.
