Create hidden folders?

In Wise Package Studio, I am seeing where you can set hidden attribute on files, but no such option for folders.
Is there an easy way to do this that I am just missing? Thanks in advance.

Im far too lazy to test this or find out more info, but, to give users modify rights over a folder, the variable to enter into the Permission column in the LockPermissions table is -536673793, so it stands that you would do the same (with a different value) for hiding the folder.

I don't think there is one for folders within Wise.
You guess you could run attrib through a custom action.

OVERKILL ALERT! OVERKILL ALERT! :) Dean, remember that a) LockPermissions causes permissions to be replaced, rather than added to; and b) the OP wants to hide the folder, not apply Modify rights to it.

Lee, as Kim says, just run ATTRIB via a Custom Action. Easy. And before you ask, no, I have no clue why such basic functionality isn't incorporated in Windows Installer.

hey, i just saw the responses - thanks.
i ended up doing it through custom action... it makes very little sense why you can do this for files but not folders in windows installer. but oh well.
