Custom action errors

Hi,
I am trying to package the VC++2005 redistributable package along with our product installer kit.
So, I modified my product ism file with the help of the msm file. When I am trying to install our product through an exe(setup.exe) and I am getting this error during the installation process:-
ERROR-2721:Custom action MSDTC_Fix not found in the Binary table string.
ERROR-1603: Fatal error during installation. Consult Windows Installer Help(Msi.chm) or MSDN for more information.

I haven't kept a condition while modifying the ism, saying to install only if the package is not installed previously. I wanted to know if this is the root cause for the above errors. Can anyone help me fix these errors. Also, let me know if there is any better way of packaging the VC++ 2005 redistributable package along with our product installer?
