Customizing the Enterprise Shockwave MSI
I registered and downloaded the Enterprise MSI version of Shockwave which includes Flash. I opened it with WPS 5.5 and disabled AutoUpdate via the reg key. Upon trying to re-compile it requested the MacroMedia Flash Player.msm and sw.msm Merge Modules. Does anyone know where I can download the Merge Modules? [8|] ...or another way to include the change?
Thanks

Sounds like it would be easier to just open the msi in Orca and change the reg key that way!

Yesterday I repacked Flash and Shockwave, but _I made snapshots instead, as of what I understand Macromedia has no package that contain only flash. Reason is that is one of the two players are updated, I do not wanna install both packages.
But I wonder how to turn the AutoUpdate off?, is it just to chane the key to
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Macromedia\Shockwave 10\AutoUpdate]
@="n"
or?
//Göran

There is a flash only enterprise MSI avaialable from Macromedia, it can be obtained from here, you are required to fill out a form to get it.
http://www.macromedia.com/support/shockwave/info/licensing/
I know the link says shockwave, but once the forms are filled out you have the ability to download just the flash player or the shockwave/flash redistributable.

I am also trying deal with the "auto update" problem with Shockwave Player 10. We need to distribute the Shockwave Player 10 to all our users at various locations. The users have restricted rights therefore are not able to do "updates" automatically. Any updates to the shockwave player have to be scripted by us first with Wise or Installshield then distributed via Novadigm Radia. We would like to know how we can "turn off" the automatic update that our users get. Has anybody actually succeeded yet in this regard?[:(]
