K1000: Deploying Java patches
Good day!
I've recently started working with KACE and I am not well aware of how to do things. So please forgive me if I am not understanding things from the start...
We are using a smart label through which patches are assigned to computers. When I check the Smart Label only the most recent Java patches are included. This smart label is attached to two patching schedules, one that detects and one that deploys. In these schedules I can see that all the necessary computers are included.
Now here's the problem: when I look at the patch in the patch list it only patches 15 computers instead of 125, as listed in the schedule. If I check the software installations I can see that there are 19 installations of this very same Java installation (Java 7 Update 40).
Shouldn't there be 125 computers showing up in the patch list and all the 19 successful installations show up there as well? What could be wrong with it?
Greetings

Do all the 125 machines have Java? - petelanglois 11 years ago

Yes. There are a bunch of different versions though (9, 11, 15, 17, 21, 25, 40)... - ystauffer 11 years ago
