Deploying Adobe Acrobat Reader DC without the Adobe Chrome Extension

Hello,

I'm currently trying to deploy Adobe Acrobat Reader DC version 15.023.20070 without adding the chrome extension along with it. Is this possible somehow? Preferably, the installation should be completely silent and the users should be unaware of the installation.

Thanks in advance!

  • It's showing a popup to install the Chrome extension now. Did you figure out how to remove this altogether? - paul1090 7 years ago
  • I had to write a command that looked for that registry and delete it. The popup shouldn't appear after that. - peter9113 7 years ago

You need to use the Adobe Application Deployment Toolkit (or whatever they're calling it this week) to create a customised package. It's downloadable from the Adobe web site, for which you need to register a log-in ID.

Once you have that, you can customise the installation to your heart's content.
